I feel like I’m on crazy pills or something. As soon as I started to actually read the bible for myself, the trinity stuff fell apart in my mind. That was the start of a huge unraveling of everything I thought I believed because I had been taught it that way.
Yes.. the church I went to I started going to when I was 8 and they never "deciphered" these ancient verses to mean something they didn't say.
That same church I went to until I was 18.. when I turned 18 I went from youth services to adult services they started calling Jesus God so I corrected them with verses, got called to talk in private, they tried to explain away a few verses to me 😂
I explained quite a few more that said the opposite and asked why they didn't mention this in youth services
The Minister said "We teach what's in the Bible in the youth services and we teach what its supposed to mean to the adults"
Needless to say we went back and forth I laughed and bowed outm
