Did Algorithms Change Lebanese Music Stardom?

Summary

In r/Lebanon, this announcement asks whether internet algorithms and streaming platforms have changed the path to stardom in Lebanon and the Middle East. It compares today’s crowded global music landscape with the limited TV and radio channels that helped artists such as Nancy Ajram, Sherine, and Tamer Hosny become widely known.
