LU English BA: Master’s Options Beyond Teaching

Summary

In r/Lebanon, an English literature graduate at LU seeks advice on master’s options beyond teaching after reconsidering a TD. The discussion explores eligibility and requirements for HR or clinical psychology programs, plus other in-demand alternatives outside translation and corpus linguistics.

Masters in LU

Im finishing up my BA in english lit at LU and i'm looking into master's options. I was originally planning on getting a TD, but it will restrict my options to teaching. Since an english BA is pretty broad but it offers very little opportunities in the work field, i want to pivot to a master's in a higher demand field that doesn't have to do with education, plausibly HR or clinical psychology, so i would appreciate any insights on whether i could apply to those master's programs or not, if yes what are the requirements, and if not, any other alternatives that aren't translation nor corpus linguistics.
