Online we see people say someone who is 20 year old with 50 year old its predatory, but if its 18+ its nobody's business.
If you think 20 or so is undeveloped, then they shouldn't be able to vote, drive , take loan, credit card, join army or work either.
cause if you consider 20 too "underdeveloped" to date someone then how can you say they're developd enough to fire guns in army? or take 50,000 usd loan for college?
either raise age for eveeything or accept that 18+ is mature enough to make decisions on their own.

It’s MAD that you think a 20yo and 50yo can be in a relationship considered normal. Will never be, there’s such a huge gap and power imbalance which leads to the 50yo taking advantage of the 20yo. You can’t compare a relationship to voting or loans. It doesn’t even make sense.

In theory yeah you can just leave but in practice you can’t. Everyone knows that relationships imply being vulnerable and it’s in human nature to use manipulation to a certain degree. which in this case, more than often the 50 yo will take advantage of the 20 yo.
