If ur using religion in an argument that doesn't involve religion and can be cleared in a scientific way, it just shows how ignorant you are as a person

then I can very well guess you stand on the side of objective science?

the arguments made by religious are so
breakable
always leaning into the lack of a need to prove anything (faith)

take that away and most of their arguments
(not based on ethics in some cases) immediately collapse

Yeapp

snowysilver-75

I think ur claim is too broad and it depends on the argument

snowysilver-75

That's a clear broad generalisation

snowysilver-75

Not every Argument should can be argued Scientifically same as how not all can be argued by religion

snowysilver-75

Even things like politics or political decisions can be manipulated through the person's religious beliefs religion can influence politics or politicians can use religion as an excuse for something

snowysilver-75

U objectively can't use empirical science in topics such as occultism

snowysilver-75

And some debates in philosophy ( u can use science but not in all science still doesn't explain everything) and to add to the point in the brackets religion can influence someone's way of thinking so indeed ur just made a generalisation

snowysilver-75

These arguments of Religion vs science don't even make sense in the first place it's like comparing a chainsaw with a kitchen knife both can cut (influence) but they totally different

sharpdolphin-67

Oh i see this all the time when theres a political debate going on

quickranger-40

I think people can justify their own beliefs using religion but you can’t debate OVER it

quickranger-40

And people shouldn’t force their beliefs on others

@quickranger-40 And people shouldn’t force their beliefs on others
