Optimum Realism: Website Extras Download Fix
Summary
The Optimum Realism team is currently investigating a technical issue preventing users from downloading maps and grass mods via the extras section of the website. The problem stems from a broken URL parameter that fails to trigger the download countdown. We are working on a permanent fix to ensure all community members can access their files seamlessly.
Right now the Map and the grass mod aren't downloadable through the 'extras' section of the Optimum Realism webpage. I took a look at it and it appears to be due to the fact that the download url and the user's tier isn't being passed to the "thanks" webpage so it has no clue where to find the download (and dlHref stays blank). Unfortunately the download URL for the maps goes go a patreon page that it says I don't have access to (possibly doesn't allow direct downloads, I don't know the workings of Patreon).

The problem isn't that the file is missing, the problem is that the website is fundamentally broken for the "extra" section of downloads. I've tested it on chrome, edge, and opera, and none of them count down from 5 to 0 to do the download. I was able to tinker around with it and was able to force it to work for me, that would require people to know how it works though. The reason it's broken is that when a user clicks "download map", or "Download add-on" it doesn't pass the download link (patreon for maps, optimum realism for grass), or the user's tier to the "Thanks for downloading" page, the thanks for downloading page will not work. We can bypass that by right clicking the download link and opening in a new page however. The actual fix should be relatively quick for you or whoever maintains the site. 🙂

For downloading extras the URL looks like this:

It's missing the part that tells it which file to download. Without that the counter can't start so it stays at 5 forever.
If I manually change the url to the following, it works as expected:
