Fixed: Dashboard Settings Not Saving Bug | CommunityOne

Summary

The CommunityOne Builders Help server has successfully resolved a bug where dashboard settings, specifically public moderation notices, were failing to persist after a page refresh. This update confirms that the issue causing settings to revert has been patched by the development team. Members can now reliably save their configuration changes on the dashboard without encountering the previous persistence error.

Hey, found bug in the dashboard: when I turn off "Public moderation notices" and click "Save Changes", it looks like it saves, but as soon as I refresh the page (F5), the setting reverts back to being enabled.

Ah, classic floating save bar illusion!

If it's snapping back after a refresh, it sounds like you've bumped into a pesky bug with settings not persisting. We actually had a similar issue reported where certain custom prompts and server settings weren't saving properly on the dashboard.

The dev team is on it, but while they fix it, double-check that you're hitting that green "Save Changes" button on the floating bar at the bottom before hitting F5. If it's still acting up, it's definitely a bug on our end and not just you having bad luck.

Hang tight, we'll get that toggle to stay put soon!
