We now have a secondary Transhumanist Discord server!

If you have been in the community for a while you might remember the first Transhumanist Discord server named "Transhumanism"!

Discord has transferred the community to us, due to years of inactive leadership, and we are now maintaining the server!

If you would like a secondary place to hang out and discuss transhumanism and adjacent topics then feel free to join.

Also, we will maintain different staff teams in both servers to allow for other members to be staff. This means that administrators in this server or my biohacking ones will not be able to be staff members in the other server (and vise-versa). Moderators are permitted.

The focus of the other server is to be more minimal, have more laid back guidelines, and less features and channels and stuff :)

This server will still serve as the primary Transhumanist server and the primary server of the Transhumanist council.

H+ Pedia by Humanity+ has been down for over a month. Thousands of articles, and edit history, written over several years have disappeared.

THPedia is not going anywhere. Help us maintain and improve important information, history, and knowledge regarding Transhumanism. We also have plenty of new ways to research, read, and understand these topics coming soon!

If you're interested in editing information and topics about Transhumanism, then join our THPedia Editors Working Group!

Official AMA: Optimizing Cortisol & Circadian Rhythms with Dr. Jonathan Moustakis, MD

Our next official AMA is with Dr. Jonathan Moustakis, who’ll be answering your questions on cortisol, circadian rhythms, and hormonal health.

Jonathan is a dual-national, award-winning physician who trained in South Africa and did his MBA at Oxford. His background spans clinical practice and public health - including work integrating AI-powered screening systems into frontline care - and he now works at the frontier of continuous, needle-free hormone monitoring via wearable sensors, with a focus on the signals that drive our daily rhythms like cortisol and melatonin.

Cortisol and circadian biology underpin so much of what this community cares about - sleep, stress, recovery, energy, metabolic health - and most of us don’t understand the intricacies of the actual hormonal signals behind them. Getting to ask someone who works on measuring them directly is a rare opportunity.

So bring your questions on cortisol curves, circadian disruption, sleep, burnout, wearables, stress physiology, and hormone sensing. I’m grateful he agreed to do this, and I think r/Biohackers will get a lot out of it!

Disclaimer: Any information shared by Dr. Moustakis does not constitute medical advice and does not create a doctor–patient relationship. This AMA is for educational purposes only, and you should always consult your own physician before making medical decisions.

(If you want to learn more about Dr. Moustakis or his work, check out the company he co-founded Lume Health: https://www.lumehealth.io)

You can also download on Google Play but a few features are still pending review (you will get the update once its released)! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.biohacking.forum&hl=en_US
