It’s a bit of an unorthodox thought for the team. The idea is that both of my megas become extremely bulky and hard to get rid of while also redirecting damage away from my other mons. However I’m thinking I may have missed something and I don’t have enough coverage for match ups.
We have Gholdengo for Fairy, Ghost and Rock type coverage. This one is max speed modest for damage output. Tho I also considered running a speed boosting nature just in case of a mirror match.
Sneasler is the standard build, but is also my only physical attacker so I’m not sure that will be ideal.
Any coverage I’m missing? Any glaring issues that this team will run into that I’ve not seen?

I have cooked up a team but I can't milotic so i replaced milotic for hisuan goodra
These are the current few pokemon i have-am i able to make a good snow/sun team? Ive been using a rain team and its boring for me. I also have both whimsicott and mega staraptor-if i cant make another weather team, a mega staraptor team would be fine i guess.

After going through a redraft of my previous season's team i decided to spice up the staraptor team with the new season. But i am facing a bit of a hurdlle with my Farigiraf's moveset, Rotom wash's inclusion on the team, and the same can be said for Garchomp. For Garchomp in specific, my staraptor mode includes Garchomp abusing the flying type and levitate from staraptor and rotom-wash to spam. However, a major flaw I noticed is that it is extremely susceptible to any fairy types. This forces me to almost always bring Zard Y (My secondary mega) for any matchup with fairy types.
I am thinking about returning Gholdengo into the team after using it to climb towards masterball tier as a replacement for Garchomp. If the replacement happens do I slap life orb or use the scarf trick set on gholdengo for better speed control and surprise threats that would normally threaten it like froslass and zard Y (Power gem coverage).
Besides the garchomp dilemma, I need help with Rotom wash and farigiraf.
P.S: the Farig set is just me slapsticking something 😭
I need help building a team with these
Are they practical? no. Are they good? debatable. Are they funny? Yes, and thats what matters.
First team is Mega Malamar https://pokepast.es/711c46324b08b6d6 Mega malamar is the primary mega who wants to press superpower, mega staraptor is the most optional piece, i just picked it because "haha funny other contrary pokemon" for whims, i picked tickle over charm because malamar is VERY frail, so i want to boost its attack and defense with the same move. salazle boosts malamars stats it cant itself, and offers disable + fake out support, sinistcha do sinistcha and keep malamar alive, and arch is mainly for my harder matchups, sylveon and floette. i can usually deal with zard y with fake out + superpower then scary face or fake tears (depending if they have tailwind up or not) then psycho cut.
https://pokepast.es/ad0b839e88ec371a the other team is mega absol. this one i feel can get a lot better and im just not putting the peices together. My main idea is to lead grim, do grim, then parting into absol and justified beat up away, then sweep. i want weavile for fake out + garchomp answer (earthquake hurts even with friend guard and play rough okay?) i feel this slot is expendable though. whims is my speed control on this team, and floette is my secondary mega bc it resists both bug and fighting, which absol doesnt like
Ping me if someone can help
The team works but it struggles a little into some MUs like ttar excadrill
i have a few pokemon, not sure if im able to make a reliable singles team

I'm planning to make a team where the core is Mega Tyranitar, Excadrill, and two Snow Pokémon, and see what Weather Ball users I can find, plus two possible supports.
I'm making an efloette team, I saw this from Eric, wondering if I could change a few mons to make room for my talonflame and absol lol. Maybe I can bring in ZardY too
helloooo, im kinda new to competitive guys, and i wanna understand and improve at it rn, idk if anyone would mind to help me making a team with me rn and helping me understand combos of it and everything, i would really appreciate thanks ^^ Feel free to dm me or answer the post thankss
I have zero experience or knowledge of vgc, I only played the games for the story gameplay. I am trying to get to Master rank with some team combinations, but I feel like I am getting outplayed at almost every turn now because I don't know any good team synnergy or what move/ability rotations to use depending on circumstances, I feel really stuck and I am so close to Masters (Up and down between Ultra rank 2 and 1).
I have attached a picture of the teams I am using. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
This team has some strong parts but doesn’t feel very consistent. I’ll go on some big win streaks and then lose a few in a row. Four fighting weaknesses is definitely a problem but I’m not sure on replacements. I thought about sneasler over incin but then trick room doesn’t feel as strong and intimidate is very valuable. Looking for any suggestions/replacements to test out.
And would you ever play them together for aerodactyls tailwind?
Complimentary pokemon for my Torkoal and Vileplume to synergise it even more with these sets of available pokemon
I just want people to tell me some bottom of the leaderboard Pokémon that are actually quite good and should be in the meta yk?

I’ve been testing the azu aegislash balance team, and it’s been extremely fun for the most part, but I can’t really seem to put my finger on what it’s missing. Any ideas would be appreciated
this isn't an interesting team at all, I've just decided I'd like to do well so I've just made the most metaslop team I could think of while still using mons I'd actually, yknow, have FUN using.
Played one match on ladder and lost, it was close tho and I know I lost a team select. it was a zard y mirror match so I should've brought Raichu but I had just caught a shiny charizard to use on the team and brough zard to the match over raichu which is frankly silly 😛
probably a borring team to talk about IK but I decided I want to shy away from teambuilding a little and just use good mons until I can reach my goals about my actual performance in battles, since it needs work atm
The tournament is this weekend and I'd like to get some practice in beforehand, any ideas or advice would be appreciated :)
(Charizard) @ Charizardite Y
Ability: Blaze
Level: 50
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 2 HP / 2 Def / 32 SpA / 30 Spe (maybe a more defensive ev spread?)
Timid Nature
- Heat Wave
- Weather Ball
- Solar Beam
- Protect
(Venusaur) @ Wide Lens (i love my chlorophyll + wide lens + sleep powder but not too jazzed about having two grass types.)
Ability: Chlorophyll
Level: 50
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 32 HP / 2 SpA / 32 Spe
Timid Nature
- Sleep Powder
- Sludge Bomb
- Energy Ball
- Protect
(Raichu) @ Raichunite Y (I think raichu is a decent anti-meta pick atm but willing to change)
Ability: Lightning Rod
Level: 50
EVs: 24 HP / 10 SpA / 32 Spe
Timid Nature
- Zap Cannon
- Focus Blast
- Fake Out
- Protect
(Whimsicott) @ Focus Sash (would rather drop whims over venu IDK I just like sleep powder too much)
Ability: Prankster
Level: 50
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 2 HP / 32 SpA / 32 Spe
Timid Nature
- Tailwind
- Moonblast
- Encore
- Protect
(Incineroar) @ Sitrus Berry (is fine, incin is always good. willing to change moves or take ev spread suggestions)
Ability: Intimidate
Level: 50
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 32 HP / 2 Atk / 16 Def / 16 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Fake Out
- Parting Shot
- Helping Hand
- Darkest Lariat
(Basculegion) (M) @ Colbur Berry (LWKY just kinda don't fw basc too much on a sun team. I think if any two pokemon need to change, it should be basc and one of the grass types. basc is here just because I wanted another sweeper. might switch for garchomp but I don't like the way chomp has been feeling recently, since people are starting to build around him)
Ability: Adaptability
Level: 50
EVs: 2 HP / 32 Atk / 32 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Last Respects
- Wave Crash
- Aqua Jet
- Protect
This has been sitting for two days while I was playing with Sceptile/Mawile, but finally started testing and it's strong so far.
I tried rain with regular Stamina Archie last season and found it really boring to play, too slow, very not my style - but Archie is still super good under rain, so I'm trying this Scarf set and it's doing well so far
Sash Poison Touch Sneasler sounded very fun to me so I'm giving it a try. Another good Grass counter besides Pelipper to protect Swampert is nice to have and love how he provides Fake Out and poison support besides strong fighting type coverage. I forgot to change Dire Claw to Poison Jab, but guess I'm doing it to reinforce the poison chance.
Had Taunt over Foul Play but 1. I hate not having at least 1 attack move and 2. Prankster Taunt is useless against Farig, which is the main mon I feel like Taunting. So I still feel weak against TR teams - open to ideas regarding that and anything in general
