Optimizing Mega Dragalge VGC Teams | Strategy Discussion

While he climbs the Pokemon VGC ladder and provides live commentary as he goes he used a team using Mega Dragalge and I've been using it. Currently, I'm a little torn on the team, I'm not often setting trick room so I'm playing without speed control, and just trying to outplay and outlast other teams. I think there's a better team in here somewhere but was hoping to get some help finding it. I understand Dragalge is not the best Mon, but I think it's good enough to do stuff.

Currently my thought is that the team kind of wants to play in trick room but it also would like helping hand because Dragalge with lots of Spa investment misses a lot of OHKOs but barely. This makes me think farigiraf would be a good choice for the team. But I was struggling to figure out what kind of farig to run and how to fit in the team without losing all of my damage.

I like a9 because it deals with garchomp fairly well. Sini feels necessary for the team. Incin feels pretty good obviously, but I could see it being swapped for something to help with steel types and if it also helps with trick room that'd be neat. Still not 100% on life orb 0 speed Gambit but I've used similar builds for a bit and it's fine. I could also see messing with or replacing rotom wash, but fast will-o-wisp is fantastic into chomp and gambit.

Would love some thoughts on adjustments to try and make my speed control feel more natural and how to improve dealing with steel types (Gambit and arch are both problems)

Building an Eelektross VGC Team | Pokémon Champions

First time i dont know where to start lol. I've been trying some elektross teams, and they felt alright, but alright isn't good enough when you aren't using meta. I'd prefer tailroom, but it's fine what comes out.

My current idea is to run elektross, chomp, sin, mega floette/delphox/blastiose. But again, if that can't work out, im down to try anything

Optimize Your Rain Team: VGC Strategy & Build Advice

I’d like some suggestions on how to improve my Golden Rain team. I struggle with Staraptor a bit which is why I put in Gholdengo and funny enough I struggle with Zard Y if I lose the weather war.

Some things I’ve played with - Thunder or Power Gem on Gholdengo. I’ve tried Metagross, Basc, and Scizor instead of Gholdengo he just seems to be the best addition specifically for Staraptor and Fairies/Ice.

Tsareena is here for FO abusers and taunt for TR but I’m noticing in MB2 that I don’t see TR nearly as much. Maybe that’s a spot I could switch out.

Any other suggestions? This has been by far my best performing team and one that I feel comfortable with.

Masterball VGC Doubles Help: Team Building & Meta Advice

Hi , I recently discovered Champions and I wanna see if I can get to Champion tier.
I got to MB with Whimsicott / Malamar; recently a mishmash of pokemons ( see both teams attached )

I would love to hear your thoughts about what comps I can play with my boxes ( I attached Home and Champions boxes )
And I am looking to get these pokemons for my home in the next days;

  • Scovillain
  • Aegislash*
  • Lycanroc ( Dusk )
  • Incineroar
  • Farigiraf
  • Archaludon*
  • Corviknight
  • Froslass

a. Comments / improvements on my current teams
b. Comps that I can play with my current pokemons
c. Which pokemons should I return ( Champions Box )
d. What pokemons should I get next if not my list?

And if someone wants to pick me up and teach me, I am more than happy to do that! Thanks everyone!

Build a Winning Steel-Type VGC Team | Pokémon Champions

Hey guys!
I need a team builder for a Steel-type Gym team (for future use/personal play).

Format: Pokemon Champions VGC

Would like to include: Mega Metagross

Since this is for a Steel-type Gym, the Ace will serve as my "one allowed non-Steel type." You have 100% creative freedom for the rest of the team! I’d just love a quick explanation of the synergy and how to play it.

Thanks in advance!

( In return in can shiny hunt any pokemon you want ):Meowscarda_ValkrixVGC:

Build Help: Mega Raichu X & Staraptor VGC Team

I already have build a trio of Raichu X, mega Staraptor and sylveon I just don’t know what mons should be the remaining members as well as I don’t know if I should do physical xchu or rising voltage xchu. You can take some things from this team if you need to. Also please don’t recommend incin, sneasler, archaledon, gholdengo, kingambit, farig or pelliper

Mega Raichu & Staraptor VGC Team Building Advice

I’ve been using this team for a while and I am getting results but volt tackle is worrying me a lot but then I wouldn’t have a mon that would properly deal with floette. What should I do to fix the team? Also please don’t recommend me incin, sneasler, archaladon, kingambit, farig or gholdengo

Free Shiny Hunting & Trade Evolutions | Pokémon Champions

I can currently hunt in Scarlet, Legends ZA, and kind of in Legends Arceus(working on Shiny Charm now) for players who aren't able to hunt for themselves (ie started with Champions). This would of course be on my own time as I get availability and I'll respond as quick as possible about timelines.
