What should i lead?
Hey so archaludon is a pretty strong pokemon in the format rn and given it great physical bulk, i figured maushold beat up+stamina archaludon with body press would be a fun gimmick to try. But archaludon doesnt learn body press in Champions so ill have to use a replacement-i have mudsdale on my mind rn (let me know if there are any better replacements). Can somone help me make a Beat Up Maushold + Stamina Mudsdale team?
Been enjoying the spider a little bit too much and decided it’s time to see if a full fledged build centered around it would work.
This isn’t for tournaments, just for some fun ladder play. I’m thinking Araquanid, Scrafty, and Gambit is a good little start but the other 3 are tbd
It would be lovely if you Dm'd me if you would like to take up this offer. You can choose wich of the shiny you want in return for the shiny rufflet.
If you see any moves or anything that can be changed i am up for suggestions
Let's see all opinions for this team
Hello guys as its a new season I wanted to try another mega in trick room, the team is as the picture says with scizor at the center and i new i wanted and had to onlcude Rotom, Sneasler and Mimikyu and settled on this for now and trying to make it as viable as possible. The biggest problem is I guess the sun so i asked Banjoand he said that I can try Golurk as the answer if I wanna go trickroom and I really like the idea. This is the start and I know it can get much better than this but I know hat the core 4 will not change except the Rotom form as all of the mons have their purpose and are connsistent
any help would be appreciated. trying to get much better at the game. willing to hop on anytime
Im looking for a teambuilding partner for vgc, and as I am AEST, having a person with a relatively close timezone would really help. DM me if you are up for it!
I built this team by myself today; I think the concept has potential, but I have some questions regarding spreads and movesets—specifically for Milotic and Toxicroak.
The main idea is to use Surf with Milotic—an area-of-effect move—to intentionally hit my own Scovillain. This would trigger a burn, activating Milotic's ability and boosting its physical defense and it also allows me to get milotic another ítem instead of te usual flame orb that is not in the game.
To handle Electric types, I have Manectric with Lightning Rod; for Grass types, I have Scovillain, Toxicroak, and Pelipper.
Regarding the Milotic set: I’m unsure whether to run Coil and Hypnosis—as that might conflict with Mega Scovillain’s Spicy Extract (since I can't burn and put the opponent to sleep simultaneously)—or to go with something like Icy Wind or Ice Beam paired with Life Dew.
I chose Metagross as a secondary Mega because I think it performs well in the rain.
I included Toxicroak because of its Dry Skin ability, which synergizes well with Milotic's Surf and the rain itself; however, I’m undecided between a bulkier build or a hyper-offense approach.
Mega Scovillain with Leech Seed seems like a solid choice if I run Coil; perhaps Giga Drain could work if I don't use Hypnosis?
For speed control, I chose Pelipper with Tailwind.
I’d appreciate some feedback.
I don't have many Pokémon but looking for someone who's willing to trade
Used to have one on an old save file but after my old switch bricked I lost that save file
This is 's current team, and it needs some fixing. It seems to be a dual weather team, that prefers to be in trick room (also find a setter) (They're relativly new to the game, so don't get too angry lol) assemble
So I’m just starting to get into doubles and haven’t really done any competitive before so I’m not sure how to deal with a few hiccups in my team. Ive made it to ultra ball 2 in a few days but I’m getting stuck now. I seem to struggle a lot against mega charizard Y trick room teams because it screws up my snow and then all my fast and frail mons get destroyed and also rain teams for similar reasons. (Also any other advice for building or like selecting my 4 attackers would be great!)
So I started my team building journey with a post about Staraptor. Then I went down a rabbit hole of Annihilape and made a post about that only for me to start using a Metagross, Blastoise, Trick room team. While playing it I really started to wish I had a tailwind Mon as well as weather control. Peli seemed like the perfect addition providing both. In play testing I was much better in weather but really struggled in Trick Room. I subbed out Basculegion for Araquanid and boy do I love that spider. Since it’s running Wide Guard I swapped Peli’s Wide Guard out for Helping Hand and it’s been great.
It might be more optimal to run Swampert instead of Metagross and some sort of other Mon instead of Hydreigon but so far I’ve been liking the team build. I also was thinking maybe Dragonite would just be better as Arch but Dnite is my OG and that multi scale is no joke.
I am sure there is some more optimal spreads I could be running if someone who is good with calcs would be willing to help. Any obvious 1-for-1 swaps to improve the cohesiveness would be welcomed too.
Yo, any thoughts on this Sun team ?
https://pokepast.es/821d8ea0cb97f973
It has a double mode with Staraptor + Sunny Day Whimsicott for Sandstorm matchups.
Helping hand Charizard means Venu's Solar Beam OHKO any Garchomp, and I've been wondering if 4 attack scarf Gholdengo was the best move, as Power Gem is here for Zard and Tbolt for Staraptor and Rain mainly, but idk if Trick would be a better option to prevent Trick Room or something. Let me know what you think 🙂
picked it up from limitless, but as it is a from a tournament no information of ev and nature was given.
also if you think any changes can be made in this team, pls suggest that as well.
this is a team I have made for a small draft legue any tips?
Primeape was one of my favorite Pokemon as a kid, so naturally Annihilape is my favorite. This team gets a little influence from my prior post about Staraptor (and getting sent down a Dragonite, Annihilape rabbit hole) and a recent Delphox/Ape team that got 5th in last Saturday’s tournament.
Metagross, Hydreigon, and Annihilape feel like a great core covering each others weaknesses. Hydreigon was the last mon in and felt perfect with teams ground weakness and his ability. I had Maushold but Sini just felt like a better support Mon for Ape since it helped with some harder matchups (rain and trick room). Incin for Intimidate rotations and then Raichu is in there as he pretty much perfectly counters the Rain/Sun team you see (with Sini).
Obvious limitations might be no weather control or speed control and this team might be dead in the water there tbh. Struggles are trick room and the rain/sun teams although Raichu has really been a star there.
I could use some help optimizing some of the spreads (specifically Ape, Incin, Raichu, and Sini). Any other feedback for tech moves or “hey get a weather setter / tailwind” in there would be welcomed.
I’ve been using this mega Froslass team for a while and I’ve been struggling with floette teams, sylveon teams and metagross/ hisuian arcane teams. Any ideas on how to fix this? Also please don’t recommend incin, sneasler, kingambit, gholdengo, or farig
Messing around with this pretty braindead team right now, still in testing phase so I'd like some feedback. Yes it's obviously inspired by regional winning teams following the norm of modest Blastoise and QG Jolly sneasler but actually being a more offensive delphox and an imprison sinistcha. Incineroar is here as a leftover from the original team it genuinely sucks into the meta nowadays and everyone counter leads it. Considering something for milotic/rotom/bulky waters/ spread spam match ups since both my emperors struggle into it. Genuinely Chesnaught might be a call but I would not like double fighting and I appreciate a second fake out because it's protect the king yk. Also needs to fix perish song mu even if it ain't that baddd. https://pokepast.es/cfcb86dc158fb1a5 enjoy the brainless gameplay.
Trying out mega Ampharos running parabolic charge. Any tips/suggestions appreciated!
