- Where is everyone at in the book? This one was a thicccccck book, so I'm just gauging if we're on track for an end of the month meeting about it, or if we'll be needing some more time. 😅
I have gotten a few chapters in, but I am juggling a few ARCs for new authors as well, soooo... not as far as I'd like to be, but I can have this done in time, no problem.
If you've started it, what do you like so far?
If you haven't yet... do I need to read it to you? Haha.
I wouldn't finish it by pure reading in two weeks, it'd have to be more audiobook added in. Then I'd feel guilty haha.
So what I’m hearing here is… 1) no one will have it done by end of April. 2) Check page numbers before posting options to vote. 3) Send Chuck the audiobook. 😂🤣
Sound about right?
I HAVE NINE AUDIBLE CREDITS, please let me gift it to you.
I have an Audible subscription, but if I buy the Kindle version of a book I will often find the Whispersync capable audible on sale for having bought the Kindle... so then I don't have to use a credit, and I can save that for books that don't have sales. But I have slowed my reading the last year, so... I haven't used them still... 😅
Yessss. I used to buy the bundles allllll the time because I never had enough credits, but ever since I started seeing the Kindle+Audible Whispersync discount things, I've been obsessed. I check that before I even check my library's online database. 🤣
Yassss! Send me your Audible email -- I'll send it right over. ☺️
So check this, right. Jennifer L. Armentrout, author of the From Blood and Ash series -- ALL of her books are a sensible Kindle cost, then only $7.49 for the Audible after you buy the Kindle. And they automatically sync, so you can switch from reading to listening and not have to fight to remember where you are. Whereas an Audible credit is like $16.99/month. If I can buy the Audible for less than half of that, I'm not going to waste a credit. This means I can save credits for other fun things, like the dramatized audiobooks of Fourth Wing. 😂
Girl... wait wait.
Show of hands, where you at?:
I have finished this book.
😅 Still reading -- could be done by end of May!
Still reading -- no ETA, life is busy.
I gave up, what's the next book?
Alright -- I'm gonna change some things around then haha.
For this book -- if you're still reading and you're into it, please keep it going! I'm going to leave this chat up for y'all to discuss whenever you're ready, or hit certain parts, etc.
If you gave up on this book -- no worries! I will post some voting in #channel for the next book, and we'll give at least 6 weeks to read it unless everyone finishes early. And it'll be a shorter book. Haha. So stay tuned.
