Honestly from what they have shown. It's upgraded KF2 graphics. Which is fine. I just feel like it's gonna be rough on laugh to sell apart from the KF fans left over.

I hope they put more focus on mission based maps. They started a little on KF1 then again on KF2. They always stop them and go back to "Here is random skins and map, Same stuff just you pew pew clowns now!"
I've been hoping on the game balance to require a bit more teamwork and strategy when it comes to holding out certain areas. Like KF1.
They did an interview about that a long long long long time ago. Console players complained said it was boring and difficulty so they pushed the game in a more run, gun and pick a direction sorta game. It's why bosses became a run fest once you went to hard mode. Zerkers would get one shotted if a medic was not up their ass 😂
Mind you, This is going back like 5 years. So it's probably different

With the leak of VR and what not. I can see them making it even more simple.
I watched as much content about kf2 before and after release as I could find. A bit hesitant after release, but I was still optimistic.
VR is sorta like a weird situation to me. VR makes things hard for the none gamer. Which it's primarily bought by none gamers. So they continue to try and add easy methods to make VR easy for everyone.
I appreciate the VR games that have "options" aka if you want casual where you can just move your gun off screen or slap a mag into it and it works great. However, IF you want a real experience you can turn that all off. You now need to manually do things etc.

It was fun for the none-kf fan. They tried to hard to move it away from the KF formula and give it this linear story. I feel they would have been better to make it like classic KF just do some optimizing like shrink the area a bit and lower enemy count to compensate for the experience.

I feel like it needs to be REALLY high energy.
If it was just KF2 with the newest graphics "Similar to KF1 to KF2" I think it would be dead in the water after the die hards play it for a month.
It needs that extra push on roles, level design and challenges.
I wasn’t very impressed, the visual design also stems too far that it’s a bit off putting.
