Well, To be honest, the people who are doing it are at fault first and foremost. Secondly Japanese have always been kinda shit at American censorship. To them half those slurs are made up or nonsense. Culture differences. Thirdly, They will need to do something about it before Americans get upset.
You'd expect their localization team to be on top of these things, they did eventually implement a filter system, but I think they overestimated how civil the active audience would be

I'm still holding out for Silent Hill ƒ, I have my hopes up for that one. I'm still feeling iffy about the Silent Hill 2 remake though.
Silent Hill remake to me will be exactly as and I agree about remakes. It's okay to hate them, often they are not made to be a perfect copy and changes will happen. They are made for a new generation of gamers. I play them to enjoy them as a (update) not a replacement. Often I see to many folks see it as "This replaces the original" which makes them says it's dog shit. Final Fantasy VII is a prime example of this. If you hate it then don't play. If you love it then just note that others will often hate change and tell you off for liking a video game.

I had a friend be angry about RE4 Remake. For me, personally, I loved the Remake about as much as I loved the original.

Yeah, I fucking loved the OG's action movie vibes. People shit on the OG because of the VAs. Honestly in that universe stripper Ada and Action Chad Leon made sense. The whole game was a rollercoaster ride of action movies meets horror movies like evil dead. The new one was more series which gamers tend to lean towards. It's a taste thing. Unfortunately people like to be "right" and forget is being right being correct? It's okay for something to be good and you hate it. 😆

I think the main mistake is chat. They should have locked it behind a paywall. It would have been easier to manage if only say 2000 people bought the battle pass.
