So I have been building this mega heracross team for a while now and I've been experimenting and testing it on showdown, I'm planning on bringing it and building it on champions once my team is perfect.
This is a tailwind team because heracross have a middling speed. With talonflame as the tailwind setter, I didnt want to bring whims because it would make too much fairies.
I can't get past 1200-1300 elo in showdown and it's frustating because I don't know what to change. Psyspam, trick room, gollirain and yaichu have been causing me the most trouble.
If anyone could help, especially with the moveset and ev spread it would be amazing.
Im trying to build a second team , my main team uses psyspam and i feel like trying something different . I figured id use mega gengar as a starting point but Im open to any suggestions :)
I need a hisuian goodra team he's too slow for normal and too fast for trick room he's too slow for dragon cheer to work and he's less bulkier on the physical side which most fighting and ground type moves are
Hi, I'm trying to make Orthworm good in this meta. But it's hard, I won't lie.
My old team https://pokepast.es/4a34dd7da292104a was super week ti fire and i never used trick room. It also had a hard time against the meta teams now. So I'm asking everyone for help, let's make orthworm grate again.
I tried experimenting with different teams/ pokemons too. Whole strategy is to shed tail and set up behind sub. Ofc it was also playable without it. In that case more agresive.

Yeah, golis and farig weren't working for me with staraptor. I decided to use Metagross because it can break screens and is as fast. Can also get kos into the bad fighting matchups. Indeedee is my rep for farig because I think the offense is more useful. Ground matchups are still bad so I might use ice punch. Still looking to optimize this cuz the core 4 has its weaknesses but it works. Suggest swaps, items, so spreads and other things.
Carrying this over from #general but I'm trying to put a team together that can help me grind to Masters in Doubles.
I know I want to use:
Looking for moveset advice/using this thread as a depository of my thoughts.
😅 very stupid but I wanted to know if there was anyway i could make it work
So I'm the one who built the Quaquaval team that was most recently featured on Pokeaim+ where Joey went undefeated! The only issue I have is against rain.
Pyroar + Tork was a quick fix, but idk what would be a better. The point of the team is Quaquaval, so I'd rather not trade it out. On top of this, a second fighting type feels redundant, so there's zero chance for sneasler. What I need is a way to deal with both fairies and rain by changing 2 slots (garde, deedee, quaq, and aero all stay.) Any and all help would be appreciated!
The initial concept of the team centered around being about to use Garchomp's Earthquake to handle common threats to Delphox like Kingambit with pivoting help from Eject Button Steelix to essentially act as a spare protect button for stalling modes like Trick Room with Wide Guard support.
The team actually had a lot of initial success but the hype has died and I think I might unironically be sitting at a sub-20% winrate this past week.
My thoughts after using the team was that Sand, if led wrong, felt like an unbeatable matchup. Rain felt that same way as well so I'm wondering if I should consider adding in Altaria in place of Whimsicott for Cloud Nine since the weather matchups have been awful for me.
The lack of Trick Room for Roar on Farigiraf is intentional to play vs. opposing Trick Room setters and also disrupt the tempo of Espathra/Raichu X core as well as removing defensive boosts from Archaludon and Staraptors.
If anyone has any suggestions/roasts for the team, I would really love to read it. Many thanks.
I have been getting dominated by a lot of my teams (particularly due to skill issue) and I’ve only been using pokemon I like and I’m looking for someone to help me make a team that involves some of the Pokemon that I like
Not mine*

And evs adjustment in rilla, king?
What else can I improve pls help
I can offer anything not in red
Everything is shiny except for the koraidon and everything in the photo I am willing to trade for a legit regular kyogre
I need help on this team and 8 Have some questions on how to use this team and what should I change in it
Debating if I should switch Sini off because i cant pivot well into it with so many meta threats destroying it.
Thinking of maybe using whimsi, or open to any other recommendations.
Also need thoughts on EVs for TTar, Staraptor
I feel like both teams are good but I feel like both of them have their pros and cons
Team 1: I’m quite confident with it as I’ve been playing it for a decent amount of time and getting confident with it. But, since it’s a tournament winning team people would know it and be prepared for it
Team 2: I’ve built it myself so people wouldn’t be fully prepared for it and yet again I’ve played for a decent time so I’m confident with it. But with this team I feel like the Zard + Venu matchup is tricky as whine ChompZ easily handles Zard he can’t handle Venu and in sun Venu out speeds and’ll probably put it to sleep.
I am leaning more towards team 1 but I feel like the surprise factor of 2 might help out more.
Want get shiny whimsicott or Shiny Mawile, but I also accept other shiny ones send offer in Dm's
