cleverinbox-49

Its kinda random cuz you didn't give me much more info but its good for every mon but tinkaton since it will tell that its mold breaker

cleverinbox-49

You can use own tempo if you wanna keep that hidden too

cleverinbox-49

Although if your opponent has an incin they will instantly be able to tell if its tinkaton or sneasler

@cleverinbox-49 Its kinda random cuz you didn't give me much more info but its good for every mon but tinkaton sinc…
quickfalcon-82 OP

oh my days ur da goat

quickfalcon-82 OP

i wanted to try a tinkaton team asw

quickfalcon-82 OP

so now i can do all 3 at once

quickfalcon-82 OP

fuck yeah

@cleverinbox-49 Eelektross-Mega @ Eelektrossite Ability: Eelevate Level: 50 Shiny: Yes EVs: 32 HP / 27 Atk / 7 Spe…
quickfalcon-82 OP

is dragonite mega really all that? i thought he was a fraud.

quickfalcon-82 OP

let me check what his ability is

cleverinbox-49

Its not a fraud

quickfalcon-82 OP

whats the general playstyle of this team?

cleverinbox-49

Its rly good against the yards without relying on a 90% accurate rockslides

@quickfalcon-82 whats the general playstyle of this team?
cleverinbox-49

If you are using electross you can put it in the front or back and prob bring sneasler for coaching. If you are using dnite its almost always in the front unless its against hard tr

quickfalcon-82 OP

gotcha and dragonite and volcarona are both using heatwave which i find redundent since they don't get stab, is there a reason for that?

cleverinbox-49

Volc does

quickfalcon-82 OP

esp for valcorna as it is it's only attacking move

quickfalcon-82 OP

oh wait

quickfalcon-82 OP

volc is fire/bug right

quickfalcon-82 OP

oops i thought it was a pure bug type

cleverinbox-49

Dnite doesn't you can use thunderbolt or e speed if you like but I prefer fire moves to deal with the steel types

@cleverinbox-49 Dnite doesn't you can use thunderbolt or e speed if you like but I prefer fire moves to deal with t…
quickfalcon-82 OP

gotcha, this team looks fun af ill give it a try and give you some feedback, also last question whats the strat against hard TR teams?

cleverinbox-49

You could also use inner focus in its base form but thats worse with the zoroark shi

@quickfalcon-82 gotcha, this team looks fun af ill give it a try and give you some feedback, also last question wha…
cleverinbox-49

Taunt can stop tr from farig, you can kill hatterene kinda easily and oranguru can be taunted unless it has the mental herb which it prob does so I'd recommend leading mold breaker tinkaton next to hisuian zoroark

cleverinbox-49

Also you can fake out farig

cleverinbox-49

So like thats there

quickfalcon-82 OP

gotcha, god damn how did u cook this up so fast

quickfalcon-82 OP

this has answers to everything lol

quickfalcon-82 OP

im tryna team build like you my boy

quickfalcon-82 OP

when I team build i spend 2h, and then start playing and then lose 5 times in a row and just go to youtube to steal a team off someone.

quickfalcon-82 OP

ty for making this, ill lyk how it goes.

@quickfalcon-82 gotcha, god damn how did u cook this up so fast
cleverinbox-49

Lots and lots of teambuilding practice

@cleverinbox-49 Lots and lots of teambuilding practice
quickfalcon-82 OP

i can tell lol

@cleverinbox-49 Eelektross-Mega @ Eelektrossite Ability: Eelevate Level: 50 Shiny: Yes EVs: 32 HP / 27 Atk / 7 Spe…
quickfalcon-82 OP

im making the team rn after getting volcarona just so ik i see for some mons u have some specific ev spreads can i ask why that is?

quickfalcon-82 OP

im going to assume its to outspeed certain mons/survive certain hits id like to know which exactly so i can use the team better.

@cleverinbox-49 Eelektross-Mega @ Eelektrossite Ability: Eelevate Level: 50 Shiny: Yes EVs: 32 HP / 27 Atk / 7 Spe…
quickfalcon-82 OP

Also u got sitrus Berry on both volcorna and tinkaton lol

quickfalcon-82 OP

I went sitrus on tinka and leftovers on volc

quickfalcon-82 OP

Whats the logic behind swords dance tinkaton btw, cause i can only attack once with gigaton hammer and then have to cooldown.

quickfalcon-82 OP

Wouldn't a 2nd attack like play rough be more beneficial

cleverinbox-49

Sry I was asleep

cleverinbox-49

I'd say volc might like the charti berry more so its easier to bring against rock typrs

cleverinbox-49

Swords dance + gigaton hammer is cuz most tinkaton only run gigaton hammer as an attack and some other move like encore since play rough will do basically nothing but if you want you can use play rough

@cleverinbox-49 I'd say volc might like the charti berry more so its easier to bring against rock typrs
quickfalcon-82 OP

yeah thats probably better since rock type moves are everywhere with garchomp and aero

cleverinbox-49

Ye

@cleverinbox-49 Swords dance + gigaton hammer is cuz most tinkaton only run gigaton hammer as an attack and some ot…
quickfalcon-82 OP

fair but i kinda dont get swords dance when i can only attack once every 2 turns with gigaton hammer being my only attacking move

cleverinbox-49

Tbh you can use sinistcha over volc I just like volc more

cleverinbox-49

And also typing doesn't overlap with zoroark

@quickfalcon-82 fair but i kinda dont get swords dance when i can only attack once every 2 turns with gigaton hamme…
cleverinbox-49

True, I was just basing it off other tinkaton sets but those mostly are next to gengar so encore disable shi

cleverinbox-49

And you can protect whenever there is a cooldown or swords dance if you expect your opponent to protect and bait out your gigaton

quickfalcon-82 OP

yeah cause i was playing last night and i got a swords dance up safely, but and then i attacked once and hit protect and then couldn't do anything offensively with tinkaton and he just easily predicted me and won.

@cleverinbox-49 And you can protect whenever there is a cooldown or swords dance if you expect your opponent to pro…
quickfalcon-82 OP

ic ic

cleverinbox-49

Oh actually now that I think abt it encore might still make more sense

cleverinbox-49

You can encore them into protect if they do something like that

@quickfalcon-82 im making the team rn after getting volcarona just so ik i see for some mons u have some specific e…
quickfalcon-82 OP

also could u explain why u have certain ev spreads? they seem weird to my untrained eye, but u probably had a reason for em.

@cleverinbox-49 You can encore them into protect if they do something like that
quickfalcon-82 OP

yeah encore seems good

cleverinbox-49

The dnite one is mine, its pretty good from my testing on other teams, sneasler is self explanitory, volc is a variation of one I used in ma but it has less def since surviving garchomp rockslide is no longer possible thanks to life orb, the other 3 I just maxed out the important stats

@cleverinbox-49 The dnite one is mine, its pretty good from my testing on other teams, sneasler is self explanitory…
quickfalcon-82 OP

yep yep that makes sense, okay one more question do i ever bring dragonite and elektross together?

quickfalcon-82 OP

since dragonite has tailwind

cleverinbox-49

Ye you can

quickfalcon-82 OP

but if i bring them together i can only mega evolve one and the other one has no held item basically

cleverinbox-49

You can also bring volc for tailwind if you need them

quickfalcon-82 OP

volc runs tailwind?

cleverinbox-49

Ye

cleverinbox-49

I put willo wisp temporarily cuz like your team is kinda frail defencively

cleverinbox-49

But you can run tailwind if you want, and thats usually what I run

@quickfalcon-82 but if i bring them together i can only mega evolve one and the other one has no held item basically
cleverinbox-49

Thats fine, dnite is still good in its base form cuz base 600 statspread and it is immune to fake out in its base form if you put inner focus on it bfore mega

cleverinbox-49

On the other hand electross is useful for removing any screens

@cleverinbox-49 But you can run tailwind if you want, and thats usually what I run
quickfalcon-82 OP

if i run tailwind of volc what do i replace dragonites tailwind with? E-speed?

quickfalcon-82 OP

ngl dragonite doesn't learn that many good special attacking moves

quickfalcon-82 OP

i can see why u use flame wave

quickfalcon-82 OP

i dont like hurricane cause 70% accurate

cleverinbox-49

Na dragon pulse/draco meteor + flamethrower/heatwave/thunderbolt and maybe e-speed is the usual offensive movepool in its mega form without the rain

@quickfalcon-82 if i run tailwind of volc what do i replace dragonites tailwind with? E-speed?
cleverinbox-49

You can give them both tailwind

quickfalcon-82 OP

isn't the redudant?

quickfalcon-82 OP

or does it work in practice?

cleverinbox-49

Ye it is but similar to how hard tr teams tend to have 2 tr setters, traditionally fast teams like this one can have 2 tailwind setters

cleverinbox-49

I went as far as to use 2 tr and 2 tailwind setters for a while in ma cuz it made getting the speed control rly rly easy

@cleverinbox-49 Ye it is but similar to how hard tr teams tend to have 2 tr setters, traditionally fast teams like…
quickfalcon-82 OP

fair fair ill do some practice and see what I like more

quickfalcon-82 OP

thanks for the feedback, ill lyk how the team works now
