Go ahead and debate to this post. Do you believe more in science? Or in a religion?
Science
Why not both?
both make sense
SOD (system of a down)
Science easily
Why you believe in science
I don't “believe” in science the same way I believe in a person or religion. I trust scientific conclusions because they're based on evidence, testing, observation, and results that can be checked and repeated. And science can change when better evidence comes along.
Yeah but god doesn't change god is one and only
Science is good to understand this world in own terms but doesn't it trying to make people disbelieve on god
I understand that your belief is that God is one and unchanging, and I respect that. I also agree that science helps us understand the natural world. But science isn't necessarily trying to make people disbelieve in God. It focuses on things that can be observed, tested, and measured. Whether God exists is ultimately a philosophical or religious question, not something science can simply prove or disprove. What makes you personally certain that your understanding of God is correct?
I agree.
Yeah I agree
So end of debate 😸
Glad we could understand each other! 😸 I enjoyed the debate, and I respect your opinion. Thanks for discussing it with me respectfully!
This debate of science vs religion is a logical fallacy
I believe both can go hand in hand, recently there's been things that science can't explain that correlate to God. as an example Science can describe how humans do behave (descriptive ethics) or how certain behaviors aid evolution. However, it cannot dictate how humans ought to behave (prescriptive ethics) or explain why certain actions (like cruelty) are intrinsically wrong. Theism attributes objective moral laws to a divine, authoritative moral lawgiver. But then you see science plays a role because Science plays a vital role in explaining morality by shifting the focus from where laws come from to how moral behaviors physically developed and function, i believe they coexist
