Why does god want Abraham and his sons to cut off thier foreskins? That just seems very random and weird.

Also does lot actually "lay" with gis daughters and have children? Doesn't that seem very wrong?

From what I can remember, the foreskin-cutting is a part of the covenant God (Yahweh) made with Abraham, which later became part of the old covenant Israel had with God.

Secondly, Lot did not know he slept with his daughters. They purposely got him drunk so they could lay with him. This gave birth to two rival nations, Moab and Ammon, which later opposed Israel and became some of its greatest foes.
