Raichu Team Swap: Weavile vs Mamoswine

I have a rendition of a raichu team Wolfey used. The team originally used Chien-pao, and as it’s not available I went for weavile. The problem is that’s weavile. Is there a better ice type in this format that doesn’t mega evolve or set up snow? Mamoswine is what first came to mind, but I would still like somebody else’s input.
Setting up snow may not be a bad thing, just would be odd bringing 2 weather setters.

well theres 3 things to deal with kingambit, raichu, aggron, and if those dont work it, close combat nukes it
even with max EV's it dies
Aegislash is also slower than aggron and raichu, which if needed double kingambit and it perishes
the team is doing great tbh, ive gone from 1400 to 1700
i was just wandering about do i go mamoswine for ground coverage, or ninetails for more weather and fairy coverage

ya aggron does fall over to torkal or charizard
its happened a few times
charizard y heat wave in the rain did 70% of aggrons HP
but also delaying the mega evolution for the rock stab works nice too

Also, have you made the move changes needed?
max speed max special 2 hp, blizzard, aurora veil, protect, dazaling gleam, modest nature
Consider taking nuzzle out and replacing it with thunder. Focus blast for protect or electroweb. I've been running a lot of Pikachu in this meta and paralyze just doesn't work enough other than the speed lower to make a difference. I would also remove sash for shuca berry there, and give sash to tales

I would also recommend sacred sword and consider making sure your speed tiers on aegi don't require you to give him a -speed nature in tw
You want him going last in the turn order most of the time so he stays in shield forme longer
Thunder is better for you anyways to nuke rain cores

i would run sacred sword if i had a better item to give him
but with CC i can oneshot kingambit
i will try thunder on raichu fs tho
i have noticed very little value on nuzzle besides hitting one of my own pokemon to slow them down in trickroom
worked for me 1 time, but most of the other times i can just stall it
in terms of a mega replacement the options are rough
mega wise its slim pickens
non mega wise, brody press if i want fast hawluca isnt a bad choice due to stab, if its a trick room team, chesnaught looks to be the best choice

You could give him shell bell or occa berry,
Your problem is, you are trying to recreate a team that worked in a much different speed tier than the one you have now
And you are just kind of shoving mons into it regardless of how they fit speed wise then trying to win with it

I wanna say I’ve played 20 games and lost 3.
It is a weird team fs, what looks to be a trick room team throws everything off with fast Aggron and then once tailwind ends here comes max speed raichu to nuke things, or aegislash for clean up.
My original goal wasn’t to change the team, just change the weavile. The idea of a different mega has been brought up though, and I was looking through the options. I’ll probably end up building a team with that in mind. Keeping the core Raichu, Pelipper, Ninetales, Aegislash. Then going for Mega Hawlucha, and whatever I need to fit that last spot.
