think of the eras / ages like this. eras are the long term overall period where ages are the seperate key points of the servers history / world history
- # basically in this ages work as a sub period of the larger era so we can spend more time in certain eras
era 1 : early / foundation period age: tribal / copper
- might stay on this for a bit until we get 60+ active players then moving up to iron age and "copper smithing / working is abandonned"
era 2: Medival
- # map might be expanded at era 2 but that depends on how many active players there are
- age: iron working * u can now craft iron related items
- age: diamond working u can now craft diamond related items
era 3: nether "discovery" still part of medieval but it unlocks enchantments and potions. also for this we could add nether worldgen datapack make nether more interesting
- age 1: potion working discovered you get to finaly make pots
- age 2: enchanting discovered enchanting books scattered around nether
- age 3: nether faction?? this is just an idea but the way this would work is that i can setup ai for nether mobs to always attack playes no matter what or set up pillager factions to form almost organised raids on players farms etc or randomly group attacks on players
era 4: netherite "discovery" age: netherite items can be crafted then you will be able to craft beacons
era 5: early industrial age: this means you can craft redstone blocks and use redstone farms semi auto
era 6: full industrial might need to find some plugins for ts like mintorio or just make so at this age you can use full autofarms*
and its ages would be colonization and maybe ai factions like pillagers and nether invading players or smnth
