Feedback Request: Rain Team for Regulating M-B

Before anything, i want to clarify that i already hit master ball with a slightly different version of this team, but now i want to perfect it for the path going forward to champions tier and to use it in a future tournament I'm planning to participate in.
I wanted to invest some speed on M-Mawille so she can outspeed max speed garchomp under tailwind, of course at the cost of losing some attack and hp points, but since she gets a boost with her ability when mege i didn't see a problem. Also, i changed her ability from Hyper cutter to intimidate. Reason being is so she can survive an earthquake from garchomp and provide a counter to physical attackers in general, Hyper cutter was to prevent her being intimidated but i think she will still hit hard when mega. (Haven't tested so i cant know for sure)
Finally the last change i did was to replace sinistcha with volcarona. Because i didn't bring sinistcha to matches that much cause of general bad matchup for him and sometimes he didn't offer much to the game besides the healing and the redirection plus being a grass offer some coverage for switching. Not saying it was bad, but most times i didn't want to open with it because i lost the healing and it's not that good offensive. So I chose Volcarona for his good defensive stats, it also offers redirection and is a second tailwind settler with a good offensive power, given me a fire coverage to deal with annoying mons like kingambit. That way i can open with him plus Mawille, with flame body and rage powder it can deal with physical attackers that treat Mawille and can set tailwind, so i don't need to depend on peli for it.
I would like to hear some feedback, if there are changes i could or should do on the moves, stats, ability or even another mons to use to make the team more solid. Also i want to know any treat i didn't see that can counter the team and overall opinion on the team.


- I’d be careful with Intimidate Mawile. The idea makes sense for helping into Garchomp and other physical attackers, but I’d only keep it if it actually changes important survival calcs. Otherwise, Hyper Cutter is still really valuable so Mawile doesn’t get weakened before Mega.
- I wouldn’t cut too much Attack from Mawile just to hit Speed benchmarks. Outspeeding Garchomp under Tailwind is nice, but Mawile still needs to actually pick up KOs once it gets moving.
- I’d aim for Mawile to have just enough Speed for the benchmark you care about, then put the rest back into HP and Attack. It feels better as a bulky breaker than a stretched-out fast attacker.
- I’d strongly consider Wide Guard on Pelipper. This team really appreciates blocking Earthquake, Rock Slide, Heat Wave, Blizzard, Eruption, and other spread moves.
- I’d make sure Pelipper’s spread matches its job. If it’s mainly there to set Tailwind, it needs enough Speed/bulk to actually get that Tailwind off reliably.
- I’d give Archaludon more Sp. Atk if possible. The bulk is nice, but in rain, Electro Shot should be a real threat and not just chip damage.
- For Archaludon, I’d keep the core of Electro Shot / Flash Cannon / Dragon move / Protect. Dragon Pulse is safer, while Draco Meteor is better if you need immediate KOs.
- I really like Ice Punch on Swampert. It helps a lot into Garchomp, Dragonite, Grass/Flying matchups, and other Ground/Dragon-style problems.
- Volcarona makes sense over Sinistcha, but I’d question whether it needs Tailwind. If Pelipper already handles speed control most games, Volcarona might prefer more direct utility or another attack.
- I would leave Sneasler alone for now. Fake Out / Dire Claw / Close Combat / Protect is already very clean, and I wouldn’t force Coaching unless the whole team is being built around that idea.

Do you have the spread for the Archaludon you are mentioning?
Also, what if i make volca de only TW settler and give peli wide guard + protect? Or is it ok to have 2? Otherwise, i don't know what to givevolca, an insect move or another utility move

Peli is just really reliable
All needs to be tested I guess
I mean, I'm not sure this applies to my concept, mostly because i could increase arch attack every time i use electro and have the bulk to survive things like M staraptor CC
Of course, i have to test it out to know for sure
Looking at your team I don’t see much special pressure
None outside of arch
I’d make him nuke for sure. Needing a turn of set up is rough
Surviving the bird of death shouldn’t be arch’s job
I can't think of a scenario where arch insta ko something without having done electro at least once, unlessis draco meteor into another dragon
I swear I have archs ohkoing my fairies and stuff with flash cannon ?
And for the lack of special sweepers, i could turn volca into one instead of RP support

If it was max attack maybe, otherwise with the "regular" spreads used on him shouldn't be able to do that

I don’t use him much but you should test with some higher spa and get a better bird answer

Mawille is usually my answer against the bird, inti or cutter and sweep with play rough, before the bridge hits the field

I am also using intim rn about to swap back to cutter tho

But staraptor isn't the only CC mon with high use in the format

But besides the bridge, what should be the volcarona strat? What moves item and spread is better then?
Also, Mawille has to be max atk obligatory?
