Summary
The Optimum Realism server community is getting a technical update on a custom Vulkan-based pack loader and shader project. This development focuses on implementing advanced features like world space reflections, voxel lighting, and emitter-based lighting systems. By writing custom mixins, the project aims to push graphical boundaries beyond standard OpenGL limitations, offering a high-fidelity experience for the community.
I've been working on a vulkan based pack loader + shader pack. I still have lots of work to do, but coming along nicely. Using the 256 of Optimium Realism right now.

It's great
ty! working my damdest to get some things working on mac that opengl doesn't support like world space reflections, proper voxel lighting and colour based space lighting casts.
my HDR (not display HDR) tests are pooching the textures though since it overshoots things so I'm going to shelve that for now and just add in bloom.
I was able to turn of the builtin MC lighting system and go emitter based for testing. I have to fix the path/ray shadows with that though.
Have you tried Iris's successor?
It's also vulkan baaer
actually no, wanted to challenge my old-butt to something new lol, so I've been writing alot of mixins
I'm also running this on 26.2+, so haven't even tried testing on 1.21.x ><
Iris's successor - I forgot the name is pretty new
It's in alpha
aah, private testers arpeture or something
