Tall Grass Renders Flat Until Close - Fix Tips

Optimum Realism reports a rendering issue where tall grass and flowers appear as flat squares until the player is close. The problem occurs with Kappa shaders on extreme settings and a 512x texture pack with no LOD, while a different pack behaved differently but had dirt side glitches. The announcement suggests checking shader or Minecraft support and testing the updated versions to resolve it.
They look like this (flat squares) until I'm like 3 blocks away, I use kappa shaders (extreme settings) and 512x pack, no DH (LOD), when I was using complementary reimagined this doesn't happen (however sides of dirt block glitched sometimes)
